Costs

Program fee: 1990€

The fee includes the standard program:

  • 1 Seminar
    The seminar comprises 45 contact hours. All course materials included. See seminar program
  • 1 Language Course
    at your level, 30 contact hours in total, all course materials included (see Language courses)
  • Extracurricular Activities (2 workshops, Culture and Leisure)
  • Field trip to Berlin/ Point Alpha/Kreuzberg-Rhön Mountains
  • Field trip to Würzburg, Nürnberg, Frankfurt (optional extra fee each field trip: 50,00€)
  • Accommodation
    from Jan. 02, 2018 till Jan. 21, 2018 in a hotel in Fulda ( 3-4 Persons in one room)
    For meals, see accommodation and meals.
  • Insurance
    insurance covers: acute illnesses, accidents, and personal liability

Please note:

We cannot offer any fee reduction or scholarship if you do not want to attend the entire standard program.

Necessary additional expenses:

  • Domestic and International travel to and from Fulda
  • Meals and beverages (see Accommodation and Meals)
  • Personal spending
  • Refundable deposit for your room key (€ 50.-) payable in the Registration Office on the IWU-Arrival Day. We will refund the deposit when when you return your key before leaving Fulda

Possible additional expenses:

  • Purchase of a ticket for public transportation in Fulda (approx. € 20)
  • Refundable deposit for the cell phone (€ 50)
  • Luggage insurance. We recommend that you insure your luggage before starting your travels
  • Additional accommodation in Fulda in case you
    • arrive in Fulda before Jan. 02, 2018 (IWU-Arrival Day)
    • arrive after the Registration Office closes on the arrival day (see Arriving in Fulda)
    • stay on after Jan. 21, 2018 (IWU-Departure Day)
    • want to stay in a single/double room in the hotel during IWU EXTRA COST (Please ask the program coordinator Judith Geissler for details)

Please, make sure that you bring enough cash (€) with you on the day of arrival, to cover the additional costs (deposits) and to have some money for food and beverages during the first few days.
