Arriving in Fulda

Saturday, July 6 (Arrival Day): 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. ISU-Registration Office at Fulda train station in the MeaMeabar:

On the arrival day we have the ISU-Registration Office set up at Fulda train station (Hauptbahnhof Fulda) from 8 am – 2 pm. Please look for signs pointing out the ISU-Registration Office at the café (MeaMea)on the upper level of the train station. Please note:

There is no ISU registration on the University campus!

The ISU-team will welcome you and provide you with:

  • Refreshments
  • Information
  • Room key ( deposit: 50€)
  • Reservation of a bike (deposit 50€)
  • Mensacard (10€)
  • Information about your accommodation in Fulda.

No further activities are planned on the arrival day.

Please make sure to bring enough cash (or a credit card with PIN number to use ATMs) on the arrival day.

Important: Many shops do not accept credit cards.

The official opening followed by the welcome party will take place on Sunday, July 7, 2019 (see Program Overview).


Please note:

We ask you to inform us in time about your time of arrival. The ISU-Registration Office will be open from 8am - 2 pm on July 6, 2019.

Arriving late:

If you do not give us advance notice that you will be arriving after 2 pm on the arrival day, you need to find accommodation in Fulda for one night yourself.

Arriving early:

If you arrive before the official arrival day, you need to find accommodation in Fulda for yourself until the official arrival day.
